John,

Thanks for your kind words. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance too. Winston has provided me with many worthwhile links in the past and I'm looking forward to perusing his latest batch.

Norm,
I found my way here via Winston's announcement today that you are among those bloggers who make him think. I know this is not your most recent post, but this one made me smile especially broadly, so I thought I'd leave my virtual calling-card here.

Your thrift-store Elvis could indeed be something like a reincarnated Elvis who hadn't made it big--Elvis' first job was as a truck driver, after all.

I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. I look forward to returning.

Roomie and I have a different problem in the same category. I'm a packrat. She cannot stand clutter and anything sitting around. I accumulate. She pitches. Arguments ensue. However, there is a glimmer of newborn hope. She has started buying books... again. This started with her getting a B&N membership card that gives a discount, and has been reinforced as she has accumulated books from authors she has met through her own authoring and publishing ventures. Soon I will be able to threaten retaliation. Maybe Elvis could swing by our house...
